Indian Wells Beach
This is a beach on the border of East Hampton and Amagansett where straight and very closeted guys go to try to hook up for some experimentation. Most of them have had little or no experience. These guys wouldn't be caught dead at Two Mile Hollow, because they wouldn't want their vehicle to be seen there, due to its reputation as a meeting place. Sometimes you'll see a car, or more likely, a pickup truck, pull into Two Mile Hollow, do a big U-turn, drive slowly out of the lot, make a right, and drive over to Indian Wells. Many of these guys are trying to signal someone to follow them, and often, people do. Indian Wells is very quiet, and there's just one long road leading to it, which is completely visible. It's almost impossible to get caught there. There's also a bit of activity on the beach.

Take Route 27 East, past the village of East Hampton. Make right on Egypt Lane. Left on Further Lane, past Two Mile Hollow. Right on Indian Wells Road, to beach.

- Cruising Info/ Tips:Be very tactful.
Cruisiest Spots: Drive into the parking lot. On your left, you'll see a second parking lot, which is quite secluded. You can make eye contact with someone in the main lot, and then drive into the second lot and wait. If you're lucky, he'll follow you. - Nudity / Policy:Tempting, but too risky. You can save that for Two Mile Hollow on a summer night.

- Warnings:The cops pull in every here and there, but it's no big deal. The cops in E. Hampton have been trained not to harrass gays, so they tend to stay far away.
Warnings: Tact is the name of the game. Many of these guys are very uptight, and chicken out easily.
