update 8/15/2008: this park was closed earlier in the summer for construction. it is open again and should be active rest of the warm weather.

This is a city park and is realtively new. Enter on an unpaved road. Park at parking lot on right and walk to the rest room and then through the several miles of private, wooded trails. Some trails go down to the sound, intercoastal water way. Pleanty of private space for . More popular in warmer weather.

Neighbourhood: Coast Guard Road

TAke NC 58 onto Emerald Isle, NC. At the first stop light, turn right on Coast Guard Road. The park is about 3/4 mile on the right.
  • Hours:Sun rise until sun set.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Hang around the men's room or walk the wooded walkway to the sound. Or turn left at the sound to proceed to more private trails.
  • Nudity / Policy:No nudity. contact must be discreet.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Handicap access via wooded walkway to the sound.
  • Warnings:Emerald Isle Police sometimes visit but not often.
