Is This Your Business?

During the day, the area is full of dogwalkers, boy scouts and old men sitting in cars looking furtive. Have not been up there at night yet, but it was active at dusk some 5-10 years ago There is a cruising ground in the woods at the back of the car park. There are two ponds - 'The Great Pond' and a smaller pond, both surrounded by lots of dense woodland. The first pond you come to is the smaller pond which is full of fishermen and boy scouts. The Great Pond is much more secluded and fishing is not allowed, so it seems to be deserted. Next step is to find out when and where the action is but we guess it could be around the Great Pond. Daytine Quite a lot of action at stew ponds car park about 2 miles from Epsom - a bit far to walk. Maybe buy a bike! Take B280 from far end of Epsom High St towards Malden Rushett/Oxshott. Ignore the right turns to Hospitals etc. Then on left parking place in woods.

Stew Pond is on the B280 between Malden Rushett (Chessington) and Epsom town centre, opposite West Park mental hospital. About 1.5 miles from west end of High Street, its on left hand side. about 1 mile from traffic lights on the Leatherhead Road which leads to Chessington World of Adventures It's a country lane and there's a woodland car park on the right travelling towards Epsom at a dip in the road.
