The Erie gay beach is actually beach 2 1/2 and not 1 as stated and is between beaches 1 and 6. This beach is exactly located at the 11.6 mile marker. It is up past the nature center (east of it). The mile markers are painted right on the the road surface (This side road that runs parallel right next to the beaches. Cars are not allowed on this side road). There is a foot path that connects the side road with the main road where you can park your car. Look for the power lines that cross over head of the main road. The path is right under the lines. It is very heavily grown in so wear jeans for protection but bring swim trunks / shorts for the beach.
