Is This Your Business?

cruiser addds 6/17/2009: Because the Loblaws signage is now down it may be hard to find (So I added a pic of the front of the building as seen from the street), but the property is still meticulously maintained and the grass is cut and watered.
I have gotten quite lucky here during the day when I come by bike and a lot of tradesmen seem to stop by for lunch in their vans
I have appended Pics from the front parking lot to identify the building. But it is really the rear area on the picnic tables and the grass behind the trailer box that all the action happens.

its a large parking lot, originally used as an additional parking, and also staff parking for the loblaws. now, the loblaws has closed down, and no one goes there anymore during the nights. :D. perfect huh?
Crowd: All kinds of , black, white, asian, huge shooters ;).

  • Drive straight up north on Islington, After you pass the lights at "The Westway" , there will be one other set of stoplights at a crosswalk a few blocks up. After that, Islington drops down into a small valley and as soon as you cross the bridge, make the immediate next turn right into the driveway of the old Loblaws. Then take a sharp right again and follow the driveway around the building to the landscaped area behind the old store, where you sit in your car and wait for exciting things to happen!!?!
If you miss the driveway and see the gas station on the corner of Dixon and Islington, just make a right onto Dixon and turn right again at the next lights, right into the main entrance into the old stores parking lot. and continue around either to the right or left to around the back of the store

Keep in mind that all of the Loblaws signage has been removed and there is some temporary discount store currently occupying the building. (So unless you are "from here"...you would not know that it even WAS an old Loblaws!!?!) The area at the back is actually quite clean and well landscaped (and still well maintained!) overlooking the park in the ravine behind! Good Luck and Happy Cruising!

  • Was there last nite, (but there are guys there on week nights too!)
Met a youngish built trucker guy who was taking a break in his rig parked right against the curb in front of the back fence overlooking the ravine. We had a lotta fun!
Try getting out of your car and sitting on the fence overlooking the park behind.
