YMCA membership does apply. Upstairs men's locker room has a steam room at the far end. Same locker room also has an open shower room with 8 shower heads providing plenty of eye candy viewing time.
Neighbourhood: Downtown
Martin Luther King Jr Blvd exit from Lloyd Expressway. Go south on MLK to Court Street and park in lot in front of the building.
- Hours:Best times in the steam room are when the locker room is less crowded and fewer people in the steam room for privacy. 4-5 p.m. has been a good time before the evening rush. Probably any time that is not the rush times would be better.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Cruisers include gay, bi, married, and possibly str8 guys.
- Nudity / Policy:It is a men's locker room and the guys at this location seem to be more free and unrestricted about walking around without towels covering them.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / Elevator to the upstairs locker room is available.
- Warnings:Be careful for the normal YMCA attitude of discouraging this type of activity. Police are members of the YMCA, so I usually just watch for the normal signals from the other guy(s).
