The park is very deceiving. It looks like a wide open space, but there are literally dozens of spots that offer you absolute privacy (no kidding).
Crowd: The park can be somewhat busy on the weekends during the day, but it's usually completely deserted.

If you're coming from St. Clair Square, take highway 50 west. When you get to an intersection with 3 gas stations turn right on Bunkum Rd. Follow Bunkum until you see the Pleasant Ridge sign and take a right on Pleasant Ridge Rd. Just a few blocks and you're there.
Cross street: Pleasant Ridge Rd.
  • Crowd:The park can be somewhat busy on the weekends during the day, but it's usually completely deserted.
  • Hours:Park opens at dawn and closes at dusk.
    Best times: I've been going there for years and seen graffiti in the bathrooms.
    Dates open: Open all year round.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Every once in a while, a cop will drive through, but if you're out of sight, they wont even know to bother. The only real danger is staying after dark, their hours are strictly enforced.
    Cruisiest Spots: This park was made for cruising. There are miles of trails through the woods, so it's very hard to run into anyone. I've been going there for years and am still finding places i didnt know were there. You could literally throw parties and no one would know because there are hidden areas not visible from the road or any trail.

  • Warnings:The park does have one serious problem...there aren't enough guys fooling around.

  • I still drive through there every now and again through out the days but no one ever seems to be there when im there.

  • Watch out, the city has installed cameras in the park where they can view most, if not all of the areas. Just a reminder
