Is This Your Business?

This is an Aire without services or toilet and screened from the road by a very high wooded bank. I have scored four times in five visits which is a good strike-rate for rural France, but twice involved a long wait. Driving out and in again lets the nervous know you are not just taking a break.
Crowd: Local gay/bi on way to from work or jobs. Lunch and tea breaks are normal in France! Ages from young and nervous to old with time to wait. Occasional trannie.

Neighbourhood: Rodez, Saint-Cristophe-Vallon

Who's Coming

Heading north from Rodez, direction Decazeville/Brive, go through St.-C-V long straight bit passing football pitch and plant-nursery. The parking is on the right behind a high bank. From the North there is a small lay by just after it where you can safely turn round.
Cross street: on the D840 (was N140)

  • Hours:24 hour parking occasional lorries overnight probably not gay.
Best times: Mid to late afternoon, weekdays and Saturday. Sundays used by families.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:You can make contact and move somewhere more "tranquille" eg a mile or so further north turn towards Conques and look out for track on left into woodland hill about a mile downhill. Some regulars will get you to follow them there or elsewhere.
Cruisiest Spots: Down entrance to field at far end. There is a path onto the bank, which is safer, but not much used as it's a scramble!
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:None if you accept the limitations described.
Warnings: Some of the guys getting it out just want a pee! Families have kids who also need to pee. Motorcycle cops sometime use it to hide and pull lorries over for checks. They don't take any notice if you act like a motorist taking a break.
