Cross over the Merrimack River bridge into West Franklin. Stay right as you go over the bridge and turn onto Rte.3A. Go about a 1/2 mile until you start to ascend a "double hill" on the first rise you will find a parking area on the right. Once at the top of the first rise and you start to go up the remaining hill, you will find Polyclad also on the right with a small boat launch sign. There is a trail that connects the lower parking area with the boat launch.
  • Crowd:Middle aged guys, closeted locals lookin' for a BJ.
  • Hours:Sun up to sun down for the parking area. Anytime for the boat launch.
Best times: This place seems to be hit or miss. I stopped by several time during the week and found nothing, then all of a sudden I pull into the boat launch area and find two guys goin' at it hard and had the pleasure of jerkin' off as they each other. The lower parking area can also be iffy but cruisers can be seen here during the week off and on. With the amount of found over the banking down by the river, there has been goin' on here. Best times seem to be early mid morning or later during the day after work lets out.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Use your best judgement as this place is also used by fishermen, boaters and families. If ya see someone sitting in their car and jerkin' their head around to get a look at you, most likely they're there cruisin'.
    Cruisiest Spots: The boat launch
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Lack of cruising of this awesome place. Especially the boat launch area. There's plenty of room to park and if anyone drives in they have to drive down a long drive giving you plenty of notice.
Warnings: None at the boat launch. The parking area is sometimes used by the police to catch speeing cars going up the hill. However, I've only seen them doing this once over the spring and summer.
