Some effort is required to reach this beach, but it is used by a good number of nude sun bathers, including many gay men. While this beach is not officially sanctioned as clothing optional, nudity is freely tolerated, and there is even a brief mention on the official tourist website of Cap Frehel that this beach is "particularly appreciated by naturists". You can visit this website at www.pays-de-frehel.com (English version available).
