A 768 acre wild wonderland for outdoor enthusiasts. Northside of park includes 10+ miles of biking, hiking and horseback riding trails. Plenty of private areas off trails. Very popular with local mountain biking community. Parking is $1 per hour - simply take an envelope and drop your cash in the depository.

Neighbourhood: Alva

From I-75 exit 143 Bayshore head east on Hwy 78 about 4 miles to intersection with Hwy 31 at Lee Civic Center. Turn left and head north about a mile. Take Hwy 78 to the right, heading east again. About 7 miles on, Caloosahatchee Regional Park main entrance is signposted on right (south side of road). Half a mile before this on the left (north side of road) is small parking lot for biking trails. This is the best place to meet.
  • Hours:Open dawn to dusk. Weekends are busy with recreational users, but later on in the afternoon, it quietens down and cruisers show up. Weekdays, single guys seem to show up after work - 5pm until dusk. Never been at lunchtimes...
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Most guys seem to cruise the parking lot from their car, or just park up and keep an eye out for other single guys. Take your action elsewhere or if you're into outdoor fun, head off on the trail to the north side of the parking lot (on left by the porta-potty) or into the trees. No water around so mosquitos are minimal. Some guys just hang out on the picnic benches and keep an eye out from there. It's not a busy place though.
  • Nudity / Policy:No nudity and no public displays. This is a family recreational park. Common sense and decency are a must.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Trails are not handicap accessible.
  • Warnings:Behave appropriately in public and there shouldn't be any trouble. Respect other users.
