Is This Your Business?

If you can manage to find paths that skirt the golf course, you'll have whole stretches of forest for yourselves! Just watch out for locals walking their dogs.
Crowd: Mainly older guys (mid-thirties and older)some younger guys (late-20s). Almost all of them seemed to be couples.

Neighbourhood: A 20 minute walk from Nishitetsu Shingu train station

Who's Coming

Mainly older guys (mid-thirties and older)some younger guys (late-20s). Almost all of them seemed to be couples.

When you exit the station, walk along the left-hand side of the tracks until you get to the level crossing (ie: where pedestrians and cars can cross over the railway tracks). There is only one level crossing in the area, you can't miss it. At the crossing, take the short street that turns left towards the seaside (a dead end). Continue along the path through the forest till you get to the beach. In the distance, about a kilometre away to your right, is the gay beach. It takes about 20 minutes to get there from the station.

  • Hours:I went there mid-week in June 2005 and there were about 20 guys on the beach and cruising in the forest.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:In the forest behind the beach, there are plenty of paths and hidden areas.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Some nude sunbathing.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:It's a fair walk along the beach until you get there, but nothing too difficult. Some of the older guys are really insistent, especially staring. There's a golf course directly behind most of the forest, so it can be tough to find a private place. Also, it's almost impossible to find a shorter way to get to the beach because of this golf course. If anyone knows a better, more convenient access point, please let us know!
Warnings: Do not enter the golf course grounds.
