Austin, you are not ready for this!! The Alamo Drafthouse is proud to bring you a series combining three of life’s most important aspects: Film, Brunch and Drag Queens!! Each month, local drag queens Cupcake and Sabel Scities will screen films that are not only cult classics, but specifically resonate with the gay community because they are artistic, hilarious and fierce! When people talk about the best sports film ever made, they usually talk about Remember the Titans, Rocky or Miracle. These people obviously have not seen BRING IT ON! This prodigious film tells the story of two rival cheeleading squads and the spirit, talent and quick wit it takes to make it to the top...of the pyramid. The cast is stellar and there are so many quoteable lines and cheers to scream out loud. We'll also be handing out pom poms to use during the film! Before the show, Cupcake and Sabel will host contests, interview audience members, and, of course, lip-sync the house down with themed performances! Fans of fun and fantastic films should make plans to attend. That's alright, that's okay...you're gonna pump our gas someday!
