DESCRIPTION:

Join the Knoxville Gay Men's Chorus for our 2016-2017 Season! KGMC rehearses Monday evenings from 7:00-9:30 in the choir room at Church Street United Methodist in downtown Knoxville. We generally perform several small concerts throughout the season and two large shows. KGMC is open to any interested singer. Auditions will be Monday, August 29 from from 6:00-7:00. Please come whenever you are available. (You do not need to be there the full hour, though please come as early as possible.) Auditions are followed by an open rehearsal from 7:00-9:00 that all are welcome to attend. If you cannot be there on August 29, please get in touch with us to schedule another time info@kgmc.org For the audition, please prepare a few measures of any song that shows off your best vocal talent. There is NO need to be nervous, we just want to hear what you can do! The director may also ask you to vocalize. There are additional opportunities to perform with small ensembles selected from within the choir. Let us know if you're interested in these as well.
