The Resolution Ride has been postponed due to inclement weather! But don’t worry, you’ll still get a chance to continue your resolutions on our reschedule date of February 12th! Same time, same place - and with the added bonus of happening alongside our annual Expo! This means more chances to win, more fun, more resolutions, and even more reason to come out and ride with us. If you can’t attend the rescheduled date and would like a refund, please contact Gonzalo Garcia (gogarcia@aidslifecycle.org) to do so. Keep those resolutions going in the new year and come ride with us!Join us for the 4th Annual Resolution Ride, a fun bike ride to keep your New Year's fitness resolutions going! Roll into the new year on January 7th, with two fully-supported bike rides through beautiful Griffith Park in Los Angeles (15-mile or 35-mile). This annual event is for riders of all skill and fitness levels. The day includes a bike skills and safety clinic for new riders, a fitness festival with local businesses, nutritious food, great music and even a chance to win a a new bike! Event details and schedule Saturday, January 7, 2017 Crystal Springs Picnic Area in Griffith Park 4730 Crystal Springs Dr 07:30 AM: Check – In & Registration 09:00 AM: Resolution Ride Routes Opens! 09:00 AM: Bike Skills Clinic Starts 11:00 AM: Festival and Rider Lunch 03:00 PM: Event Ends We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, January 7 at the Crystal Springs Picnic Area in Griffith Park! Check-in and bike number assignment will start at 7:30 AM before the routes open. The rides will start at 9:00 AM, following opening ceremony and a mandatory safety meeting. Cyclists participating in the 35-mile route will roll out first, followed by participants in the 15-mile route. For both rides, cyclists will go in waves as directed by event personnel. Lunch, music and fitness festival with local vendors is included. Resolution Ride merchandise will be for sale What Do I Need? Please bring your ID as well as a Consumer Product Safety Commission-approved helmet. A limited number of loaner bikes will be available courtesy of Just Ride LA. To reserve a bike, email chris.v@justridela.com We also suggest you bring sunscreen and a bottle for water, extra bike tubes, sunglasses, and some cash. Check the weather and dress appropriately for the day! Be ready to have fun!
