C’est avec beaucoup d’euphorie que Fierté Montréal, présenté par TD en collaboration avec le Casino de Montréal, annonce aujourd’hui que Nelly Furtado sera sa tête d’affiche cet été. La chanteuse canadienne offrira une prestation de 90 minutes le vendredi 18 août à 21 h sur la scène TD du parc des Faubourgs. Un trottoir pavé mène les invités à une plateforme surélevée située devant la scène. Deux toilettes accessibles se trouvent dans la zone adjacente à la tribune. D'autres toilettes sont accessibles dans le parc du côté de l'avenue Delorimier. L'accès à ces dernières n'est pas pavé. L’île connue sous le nom de «Montréal» est désignée «Tiotia:ke» dans la langue des Kanien’keha:ka. Nelly Furtado will give a 90-minute performance on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 9 pm on the TD stage in Parc des Faubourgs. There is then a paved path that will take guests to an elevated platform in front of the stage. In the zone where the platform is situated, there are also two washrooms that are fully accessible. There are also more accessible washrooms in the parc among those lined up along Lorimier Avenue. The path to those however, is not paved. We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather for Canada Pride Montréal 2017 is the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk). The island called “Montréal” is known as Tiotia:ke in the language of the Kanien’kehá:ka, and it is a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst nations, including the Algonquin people.
