Every filmmaker should experience real film! LEARN FILM: 9am-12pm - Free, unlimited spots. The Nashville Filmmakers Guild is partnering with Kodak to offer a free workshop to teach about super 16mm film loading, film history and the various film formats. SHOOT FILM: 1pm-5pm - Free, Limited 30 spots. Get hands on with Aaton & Arri Super 16mm film cameras and actually film...on film! This is a unique opportunity to individually experience shooting film on iconic cameras. Taught by Randy Tack, cinematographer and former Worldwide Motion Picture Educator, Eastman Kodak Co. Crawford Media Services & FotoKem from Atlanta, GA will be at the workshop to discuss film workflows and help explain what happens after film is shot and how it goes on to be processed.
