Please join the Honorable Thomas A. Degise (Hudson County Executive) and the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders as they raise the Pride Flag in honor of the Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival. This year citations from the County will be awarded to Howard Brunner: For providing a safe space for our LGBT Community. In times of need Howard has opened his doors to the community again and again for community meetings, art expression and local activism. Jonathan Paul Lucas: For his longtime commitment to The Hudson Pride Center and advocacy throughout the city, county and state. Liz Schedl: For her role as Deputy Director at Hudson Pride Connections Center. As the Deputy Director, Ms. Schedl supports the development and implementation of the Center’s strategic plans and policies, provides leadership and direction to the various outreach programs, and direct supervision to all the staff at Hudson Pride.
