It's that time again! We are hosting a fundraiser in support of the only openly-gay member of the New York City Council from Brooklyn, Carlos Menchaca. Council Member Menchaca has been a fearless champion of LGBTQ causes in our City and beyond. In his first term, Carlos authored the law that created IDNYC--an ID that affirms the identity of any New Yorker who uses it, including our sisters and brothers of Trans identity. He led the charge to ensure that LGBTQ young people would have resource opportunities in EVERY borough through partnership with the Hetrick-Martin Institute. And every day, he is working to ensure that LGBTQ folks who are immigrants, young, seniors, black, and working class are taken care of. Let's make sure he gets re-elected this year!
