Every year on the equinox (June 21) - music events come to life in just about every French city, town and even village. In Paris, there are all sorts of musical goings-on across the city. The Musée d'Orsay helds a regular event. But the place to be for the gays is, of course, the Marais gay quarter - where tens of thousands of mostly homosexuals gather to listen to music and hang out with friends (with a little cruising thrown in we're sure...). Just head for the centre of the district and you'll find the crowds.
