EBRM Presents the Divine Lorraine Block Party, Benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region The two iconic Divine Lorraine Hotel signs that sit atop the historic building on North Broad Street will light up again on October 27. The entire event goes back to supporting the mission of BBBS IR. Food Trucks, Beer Garden and Family Friendly activities all night. Live music and games for all. Event is FREE to attend. Kid friendly pumpkin crafts, mask decorating, party games, and more! PLUS: you can enter a special raffle for a chance to win a private FULL tour of the Divine Lorraine for you and 5 friends. 100% of the funds raised from this one in a lifetime opportunity, will benefit BBBS IR. All the food trucks are making a generous contribution to BBBS IR: FOOD TRUCKS attending: The Cow & The Curd Prime Stache Dos Hermanos Taco's Baby Blues BBQ Nick's Roast Beef Philly Pretzel Factory Sweet Box The beer garden is made possible from generous support from long time partnerships with Yard’s Brewing Company and Tito’s Vodka. Hot cocoa benefitting BBBS IR will be provided by Saxbys Coffee. “It should be a good time for everyone to come out, and everyone’s invited,” says Chris Cordaro, vice president of EB Realty. “It’ll be an opportunity to strengthen the community message, which is really important to us in our developments along the North Broad corridor.” The block party event, benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region, will take place at the foot of the Divine Lorraine along Melon Street and N. Park Avenue. Expect a sort of autumn festival, with beer garden-style set-ups, corn hole games, and live music. Divine Lorraine merchandise will also be on sale. Speaking of, the Divine Lorraine will not be open during the event. Currently, the lobby is being restored and Cordaro says they don’t have the security capacity to allow public entry. November 3rd event kicks off at 4 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m.
