Age & Al: Alcoholiday Starring Adrienne Fischer and Allison M. Weakland Saturday, December 10th at 7:00 PM @ the Prime Stage Studio A holiday sketch comedy romp. Bring a gnarly sweater and your righteous singing voice for a totally tubular night out! Featuring an Ugly Sweater Contest and Christmas Sing Along. Refreshments and wine will be available. Tickets $15 online ($20 at the door) DETAILS: Age & Al: Alcoholiday is a sketch show featuring Pittsburgh’s favorite gingers Adrienne Fischer and Allison M. Weakland. They are back with new characters as well as some old favorites all dealing with the stress that come along with the most wonderful time of year. Adrienne Fischer and Allison M. Weakland have been friends and collaborators since meeting at Seton Hill University in 2002. During their school years, they performed together in numerous productions including The Crucible, Our Town, The Sleep Seeker, As You Like It, and Lysistrata. After graduation, Allison stepped behind the scenes to focus on directing while Adrienne continued to pursue roles on the stage. Their artistic partnership evolved as Allison directed Adrienne in several plays including String of Pearls, Harps and Harmonicas, and Steel Magnolias. Eventually, the two decided to hone their writing skills to create an outlet for their own creative visions. Their one act play Hit or Miss was produced at the Pittsburgh New Works Festival, and their original sketch show Ginger Binger played to packed houses at Arcade Comedy Theater.
