Due to the tragic events that occured on Friday, December 2nd, DTSF is hosting a special First Friday event on December 9th. The event will feature great sales, events, expanded hours, and is also a chance for the community to give back to the famililes affected. Events, sales, and fundraisers planned for First Friday 12/9 include: A League of Your Own: Come support your downtown businesses this holiday season! All shoppers that make a purchase now through 12/21 will be randomly entered for a chance to win a handcrafted “America’s Game’ #2000 piece of art from The Baseball Seams Co. The artwork is currently on display inside the store and the lucky winner can chose any matting/framing option they’d like. CH Patisserie: First Friday Buy 2, get 1 free macaron special! You can also purchase Urban Archaeology gift certificates at CH Patisserie until the store is able to reopen. Chelsea's Boutique: Holiday Open House from 6-8pm Get the first peek at our Holiday Collection, check off your Christmas list and come see the store decorated for the holidays! Holiday fashion show at 6:30, Free $20 scarf with every $50 purchase, Hot chocolate bar, Live Christmas music and 20% of sales go to our monthly charity! The Cookie Jar Eatery: 605 Running Company will open a temporary pop-up shop on Thursday, December 8th and will be working out of their space Shriver's Square until they can safely open their store. Cookie Jar will also be selling gift certificates to Half Baked Sioux Falls and Urban Archaeology until the stores are able to reopen. Lloyd Companies: On Dec. 9 and 10, in conjunction with the rescheduled First Friday events from DTSF, Lloyd Companies has coordinated an effort called Shopping for Strength. It will match a portion of sales from the shops along streets closed because of the emergency and donate those funds to the family of the victim. LOT 2029: Will be open until 8pm and will do an additional 20% off Sale Items. 10% of sales that day will be donated to the families affected by the tragedy. Luca's Boutique: Stop by for a peaceful and fun night of classical music carols, shopping and a wine tasting. From 6pm-8pm on Friday December 9th! They will be selling gift certificates for the stores affected by the DTSF building collapse and donate 10% of sales to those affected. A further 10% of these sales will be given to those affected by the recent tragedy downtown. Lilly Barrack Jewelry and Jennifer Dawes Jewelry; these are in-store for a limited time, so hurry in! The Market: From 5 - 8pm, The Market is co-hosting a special wine tasting with Cask & Cork, pouring a Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet. This will take place downstairs in our new Somm Lounge. Each of the three wines will be sold for $5 a glass with 100% of the proceeds going towards those affected by this tragedy. We also have a framed painting created by local artist, Jamie Voigt, that will be raffled off for $5 a ticket. Unglued: Sioux Falls: Free will donation Bath Soak Make and Take. Customers will get to make a relaxing essential oil infused bath soak to give as a gift this holiday season or take home and use to warm up on these cold winter nights. The make and take station will be set up from 4-8pm, all proceeds will go to those affected. Also, all Brick House Creations will be 30% off Tuesday, Dec. 6- Sunday, Dec. 11.
