METWRK presents Denite Friday June 30, 2017 ONE LOFT Tickets: http://bit.ly/2rJeHxM METWRK is proud to present Berlin based artist, Denite (Diynamic, Get Physical, Redlight) and from Toronto, Hauy (Get Weird), Ted Kasprow (Art Vibes Music, All Blak),and Alex Breeze (Avid, One Loft resident) for METWRK’S event debut at One Loft Cafe and Bar. LINEUP Denite http://soundcloud.com/denite Denite’s productions are highly influenced by his time he spent playing in live bands and by the more rhythmic and melody-driven Drum&Bass of the early 2000s. These influences are perceptible in his drums, bass lines, melodies, percussive grooves and his characteristic sound and touch on keys. His releases have graced the shelves of such labels as Diynamic, Get Physical, Third Ear Recordings as well as his own Redlight Music imprint. His remix work has been commissioned by the likes of Thomas Schumacher, Deepchild and Echonomist, appearing on labels like Noir Music, Trapez Ltd and Resopal Schallware. Hauy https://soundcloud.com/hauymusic Hailing from Brazil and since moved to Toronto, where he quickly became one of the city’s favourites, Hauy is an author of singular style, producer and DJ. Hauy has been playing in all major clubs alongside renowned artists such as Stimming, Dj Tennis, and Hunter/Game, just to name a few. Because of his unique and authentic productions, Hauy’s songs have also been recently played at some of the world’s premier festivals, and supported by artists like Joris Voorn, Matthias Meyer, Los Suruba, and Lee Burridge, who signed Hauy’s latest EP on his label “Get Weird”. His progressive and melodic sounds add mystery to the groove that work for your mind and soul. Ted Kasprow https://soundcloud.com/tedkasprow At the place where deep sexy house meets high-octane energy is where you’ll find Ted Kasprow’s sound. Having spent part of his childhood in Florida, his music has taken the influence of Latin American and African fusion, which has developed into a very unique blend of deep house and melodic percussions. He has seen a very successful collaborative album, the bombshell EP, which was released on all blak records, climbing up to number 29 on the beatport top 100 charts. Ted has since released his first solo EP, titled Lover’s Empathy, on Art Vibes Music. Ted has been pushing himself with his productions, with a slate of the to be released in 2017. Alex Breeze https://soundcloud.com/alexbreeze Alex Breeze is no stranger to the DJ booth. In the last few years Alex has been building momentum organically and has played alongside the likes of Oliver Koletzki, DJ Three, Sydney Blu, Sebastien Leger, Eelke Kleijn, Edu Imbernon and most recently Blond:ish. Known for his versatility behind the decks, playing many different styles and genres of electronic music, Alex is now working to bring that versatility to the studio. You can be sure to hear some original productions and remixes in the very near future.
