From Hwy 55 (also called Olson Memorial Hwy) go North on Theodore Wirth Pkwy @ .75 miles and park in the Par 3 golf parking lot. Walk back down the Pkwy @ 200 feet to the path (usually a gate across, but walking path is next to the gate). Walk down the path @ .5 mile til path splits - take left path up the hill and wander thru forested and open prairie areas. More active in better weather. Dress warmly in winter. • The grass in the field has all been cut down. I laid out on a towel in a speedo, but was alone the entire time. I guess there are still cruise options in the woods, but they seem to be pretty intent on stopping us from nude sunbathing or.... I don't know if I'll go back.

  • This place used to be great for laying out nude in the sun. Has anyone been there this year?

  • I went to this area today. Nice to lie out in the tall grass and not worry (too much) about being seen. I went down to the beach, nice quiet place it seems. I kept my suit on most of the time. Nice hairy guy in a (pink) bikini on the beach, should have gotten his name. I'd go back, not sure I'm brave enough to do too much there though.

  • There was a sting at Hidden Lakes beach last weekend. Several people were cited and several were harassed. Apparently metro police are cracking down. Also was one in Burnsville. May be good to cool it for a while.
