A powerful and inspiring landscape, the Grand Canyon overwhelms our senses through its immense size; 277 river miles (446km) long, up to 18 miles (29km) wide, and a mile (1.6km) deep.

Grand Canyon is in the northwest corner of Arizona, close to the borders of Utah and Nevada. The Colorado River, which flows through the canyon, drains water from seven states, but the feature we know as Grand Canyon is entirely in Arizona. From Phoenix, Take I-17 north to I-40. Take I-40 west to Highway 64. Take Highway 64 north directly to the South Rim. (231 miles / 372 kilometers) Entry Fee is $25 per private vehicle. Special passes are available for Disabled and Seniors. See website for details.
