Take Hway 13 North out of Haleyville and travel approximately 7 miles toward the town of Bear Creek. Turn right just before crossing the bridge into Bear Creek and cross the railroad tracks. you turn right and cross the RR track and go about half a mile and turn left on first road to the dam.
  • Crowd:All types of men. Mostly blue collar workers, fishermen, etc. Not all guys are cruising so have some respect.
  • Hours:After lunch or on weekends.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Some families, so discreetion is probably smart.
    Cruisiest Spots: Follow the paved road down below the dam. Park and be discreet. Foot paths along the spillway are best but watch for snakes and fishermen who walk from the parking area to their fishing spots. Take the action of the main footpaths.

  • Warnings:Watch for snakes and other outdoor pest.
    Warnings: Some redneck straight guys who may not be up for the action so play discreetly.

  • was there about 3 weeks ago but only 2 guys were there. both were fishing and not cruising. directions are miss leading for this site. It should state to take a right just befor entering the town of bear creek instead of a left. you turn right and cross the RR track and go about half a mile and turn left on first road to the dam.
