cruiser update 1/5/2009: No real gloryholes, only about three tiny little peepholes. Staff is cool -- they do not hassle folks in the (LARGE!) arcade. Arcade is well-lit -- too much so! Entrance to store is now ONLY in the rear. Store open 24 hrs.

Parking lot: Yes, cops know what's going on, so much so that they have now gotten the city to close the lot between midnight and 6am -- the ONLY parking lot of the many in Hayward that they have done this to. But, generally, the cops are OK about the cruising. Be careful of the sketchy element -- I was mugged there once in broad daylight.

previous comment: Parking lot is always cruisy. I never went in, but I heard you can get action in the arcade too, if you just leave your door open.
Crowd: All types/ races/ yet; mainly adult white men.

  • The cruisers in the parking lot are a mixed bag. I've seen trolls, and sketchy looking guys, but there have been some cute ones too. I guess it all depends on who decides to stop by. There is a sign in the arcade saying that the area (outside the booths) is under surveillance as well as one person per booth rule. I'm not sure if they enforce it.

  • Daytime cleaning guy is NASTY -- beware of him. This is generally an OK spot, I often get lucky here by checking for unlocked doors. Management seem OK. Still no GH though.

  • Since the early 90's, this place hasn't been cruising friendly. Too bad, it use to be a good setup especially when the guys from Cal State Hayward would come down to play. Much more action takes place in San Leandro bookstore or Hollywood vid in Oakland.

  • Was there Aug 4, 2008 between 2:00 & 3:00 PM the place was pretty busy. Staff friendly and did not bother anyone or seem to care what was going on back in the arcade. Arcade very clean and well kept. I'll go back again since I had a good experience. Another great thing about this place is there is ample free parking in the back with easy access to the store.

  • although there are no glory holes in the arcade, it is very active now. no token purchase is required to enter, and no one seems to monitor or care how many guys get in a booth together. the one execption is the cleaning guy. he seems to have a problem with two guys being in a booth. guys who want action leave the door unlocked. there are usually at least a couple of guys looking for action by trying the locks of occupied booths.

  • No glory holes here. Check the store in San Leandro.

  • Do any booths have glory holes?

  • Store has been remodeled and so has the arcade. They have added booths, made them smaller but the lighting is very bright. Didn't see anyone else cruising but may have potential. Seems they got new staff.
