Rest Area near I75 Exit 414
It's a cookie cutter Florida rest area. Same bathroom, kept reasonably clean. Cops patrol bathroom occassionally, but nothing too bad. Normal precautions.
Crowd: A lot of truckers and travelers stopping in for a quickie.

Take I-75 southbound, about 2 miles south of Exit 414. The rest area is right off the highway, just pull in.

Best times: I haven't been during the daytime, but there's been pretty dependable action around 6-9pm from truckers stopping for a rest and travelers. - Cruising Info/ Tips:Make eye contact, tapping foot beside guy next to you in or . If the guy's a trucker, it's really best to go back to his truck for some privacy.
Cruisiest Spots: The restroom is decent, but you have to watch for people walking in on you. - Wheelchair Accessible:No

(You have to be logged in) Add CommentI have seen this post for a while but didn't have any reason to go by there since it's out of my normal area. Tonight I was driving through, though, and decided to make a stop. There were three state troopers who had someone stopped at the rest stop exit so I didn't have high hopes. But I did have some luck not in the restroom, but outside on the south end of the parking area, near where all the trucks park for the night. I saw a guy lingering near a sign with his hands in his pockets and approached. He was a trucker and long story short we ended up in his truck. Great place, but watch the state troopers because they frequent rest areas.
