This beach has been designated clothing optional since 1977. There is a 300 step staircase down to a rather rocky beach. Draws a mixed crowd of straight and gay.

From central Hyeres head south on route D559 for 4 kms. to roundabout near coast, turn right (west) continue on D559 another 4.5 kms to small town of Carqueiranne. At the second roundabout in town, turn left (south) onto Chemin du Canebas for a few kms and watch for sign to beach. Park where you can.
