  • U.S.A. Ina, Illinois Rend Lake boat dock and parking lot near college campus. The parking lot has been a great place to hook up and go into the woods. Police are shutting down any and all activity in these areas. Two men were beaten while playing in the woods and one women was raped. A sting operation netted over 200 arrest for gay activity on Federal property. I personally was questioned by the police as to why I was parked in the parking lot near Rend Lake College, which was tough to explain. Fortunately for me I was told to leave and never return.....

  • I visited the area on August 31. I went to the parking area near the campus. I got there about 6pm. A few cars. Only one person in sight. About 6:30 a park ranger drove up. He took out a pad and I think he was going to write down license plates. I left quickly. Not sure if I'll go back. Has anyone else been there when the ranger came?

  • The parking area down the rock road is definately blocked off. There is still action around the parking lot where fishermen put their boats in the water but be careful of the fishermen. The area on down the road towards campus still has action. I've been lucky a couple of times in the park at the restrooms near camping areas
