Rest area on Interstate 10. Truckers coming from Arizona let it all hang out.
Used to be a , but it's covered up now. Quiet and safe in the evenings. Sunday is not good, too much return traffic.

Head east on Interstate 10 about 15 miles past Indio. At first rest stop, go past 1 mile to access road and go under freeway to the other side. Get on the freeway and head west 1 mile to the rest area on the other side.
