looks like things are picking back up around here. alot of guys driving around, but they need to get out of their cars and communicate.

walk around here alot, don't see many cops. usually 1 drives through around noon and then takes off.

Be careful here, guys. I used to have a lot of fun here, but like the others have said, the locals are putting a lot of pressure on the police to clean it up, and they are trying. Saw a cop today driving the bike path, getting out once in a while to check when he thought he saw something.

Very true. I was just there a couple of days ago...just passing through as it had been a long time since I was there. There were 2 Shorewood cops there, and a forest preserve cop on a bike riding around. There were only 3 cars in the whole place besides me, and they were all sitting around talking...no action going on.

My guess is that with all of the families, daycare centers, and churches having picnics and such there, the cops are trying to keep the place "safe". It sorta sucks cuz it used to be a pretty fun place.

Shorewood police, and forest perserve police and undercover police have been watching this place. don't want anyone to get into trouble, so if you visit be very careful!
