From Joplin, go west on 7th street (Route66) to Central City Road; you'll see the building ("THE TOOL CHEST" painted on roof) off to the north (right), turn right (north) on Central City Road and then immediately right (east) again. West Montana Lane is a poorly maintained access road and is not marked, but you'll see the sign for the business.
Cross street: Central City Road (JJ hwy)

  • Hours:24 hours, 364 days (closed Christmas)
    Best times: Late evenings during the weekend, but the is almost always a few people around.
    cruiser Adds: Hit and miss, anytime but very early AM.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The back right corner of the arcade has two booths with a buddy window.
    Cruisiest Spots: The arcade usually has someone in it wanting to get or give a BJ.
  • Nudity / Policy:Never had a problem with management.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:The driveway could kill your suspension if you are not careful. Chain smokers hang out in the arcade.
    Warnings: Police are not known to check inside, but have been known to ticket people leaving with minor infractions (like improper lane changes) once they reach 7th street.

  • Unfortunately the place is dead most of the time. The staff is nice, but I don't see how the place is staying open. I think more would go there if it wasn't on such a visibile street.
