Our recent visit found things as you describe. Great to come out of the pool, wet & naked, and head over to get a drink among the clothed bar guests. Then upstairs for nude 'sunning', at first. With a dozen or more guys nude on lounge chairs, it doesn't take long for someone to look for a dick to suck, and while not everyone goes up there for sex, enough do that it happens. After dark? Many more guys (the later it gets) who pretty much go nude, since everyone else is by then. As open a sucking & fucking scene as you'll see (and it looks great in moonlight!).

I'm guessing the garden bar is like the poolside bar at Island House--they don't want you having sex there because it puts their liquor license in jeopardy. But reading about all the fun up on the 2nd floor sun deck is music to my ears!

The upstairs sundeck is a great place to lay out nude and tan during the day. Anyone can use the deck. You don't have to be staying at the guesthouse. Just buy a drink at the bar and go upstairs. Have gotten suvcked during the day up there.
At night, after 10 pm, on Friday and Saturday Nights the upstairs sundeck is men only, nude, and very active. Lots of young guys sucking and fucking. It is one of the safest cruising spots in Key West. Anything goes and no hassles.

The garden bar outside in the back is clothing-optional before 6 PM. They have a small swimming pool next to a fairly large in-ground hot tub. You can catch some rays in the buff, walk over to the bar nude to get a cool drink, and chat with the other guys there. It IS Key West after all, so there might be a female in there, but everybody is One Human Family, as the bumper sticker says. Enjoy it!

By the way, most of the strippers are str8 so I doubt they lie out at the pool during the day. It's just a job for them.

what's the deal with he sundeck at the Garden Bar at New Orleans House for non-guests?

Spent New Years week there last year. Lot of action on the rear deck behind the 2 apartments up stairs. I had my door open, made up an open bar and sucked cocks late into the night. This place is great!! It was where I stayed on my first trip to Key West. Found myself very depressed one afternoon (fight with boyfriend) went back to take sun on the deck and met a great looking local.
