  • One more comment about the amount of truckers. I was reading an article in the newspaper about truckers losing their jobs and they claimed that 40% of the trucks last year are no longer on the road. This economy is in dire straights.

  • In the new structure that houses the women's restroom, there is a glassed in office or something on the end of the building that overlooks the entire area. I don't know what the office is for, but it looks like an observation point.

  • Yeah something tells me this isn't gonna be the spot like it used to be. I stopped by there today to check it out and the restroom doors for the men and women face each other, so it would be difficult to even get a one on one going on in one of the individual rooms without the risk of someone seeing.

  • Some guy on Adam4Adam made a big announcement on the party and events page. I guess trying to get guys to go out there again. I haven't seen it in a while but from what jiminclovis said it may not be as it used to for a while if ever. I'd be careful though, cause you never know when the CHP or Sheriffs department could be watching the place. I'd wait a while when it doesn't seem to be a priority for them to keep an eye on.

  • This place is now reopened, but It's pretty wide open now. All of the little hiding places are gone and the restrooms are clinically bright. We'll see if this place can return to the fun it used to be, but I'm not counting on it.

  • I thought the place was supposed to reopen this month. Does anyone have any updates on the opening date? I figure the budget impasse in Sacramento may be having an effect on this.

  • I just drove by this location (literally, didn't exit freeway) on Sat. 2/21. This used to be one of the busiest rest stops in CA. Didn't see evidence of any CHP buildings. Looked like it's being re-designed into a row of individual private bathrooms to discourage communal cruising. Bad for orgies, but great for one-on-one privacy!

  • I hear there will be a CHP outpost at this site now. Does anyone know if that is true? I used to stop at this place on my way to work and on my way home.

  • Things are too slow...and when people do turn up...it seems like everyone is nervous. A guy flashed his brakelights at me....so I pulled over and he came to my window. When I asks what's up....he said "Nothin...just checking my load." Maybe he thought I was undercover...haha...I get so paranoid myself! SOMEBODY PLEASE SHOOT ME A MESSAGE AND A GAMEPLAN!!!
