  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just walk into the woods on one of the trails and rub your as you go. Wait just into the woods to see if anyone follows you, then walk back to a good suckin spot. Watch for the POLICE there walking around now.
    Cruisiest Spots: Right adjacent to the parking areas. Best is at last parking area before driving back out of the park.

    As I warned about two weeks ago, Lansing Police have begun conducting sting operations in Fenner Nature Center. Last week there were at least 3-4 arrests, (street officer reporting) although the Public Information Officer at Lansing Police says there were "significantly more." In addition, the arrests fell under a code name of Fenner Operation. This place is NO LONGER safe. The gay community is now a political football in the upcoming mayoral race, and the current mayor, while claiming he is gay supportive, feels he is not getting enough support/praise from the LGBT community. This in turn is forcing him to make moves to distance himself and garner the vote of more conservative voters. Expect the arrests and police patrols to continue, and expect the sting operations to grow ever more aggressive.

  • Heed the cruise Editor warnings. I read in the paper today of the sting operation and the Mayor and City Counsil woman for this area want an investigation to why the sting. No one higher up notified and the article stated that cops responded to complaints but never found anything, now the Mayor and Gay Community wants to know why the sting when the police found not basis for the complaints. Anyway, I don't keep up on this too much but do recommend that you heed the cruise Editor and exercise extreme caution or even stop using this location for a while.

  • I was just there, and the undercover cop in the Green Saturn VUE is back. You can't miss him...he is tall and bald, but grew some head hair back and shaved is beard. Stay clear of this guy....he is real trouble. He will have you arrested for suspicion of lewd activities.

  • Thank you for the heads up, I got nailed there twice and made another contact, where we moved off site, so far this spring, We moved off site because a police car came crising in and parked. I am hoping that Legg Park will open soon as I have hooked up there several times too. Hooked up in Fenner several times this last winter. Has anyone figured out a good spot to do it yet in there

  • hey all will be there off and on this weekend. I got nailed in the blind by the march this afternoon. Better NOT to use the traditional cruising area anymore-- the cops and city are moving in to clean it up. Also don't sit in your cars anymore, the cops are stopping and asking for ID and questioning you about why you are there. Best thing is cruise by the building but go back into the nether parts of the park for action.

  • it is back into operation and has seen some visitors, like the cop car that slowly moved through and waited near the entrance. Two (2) cubbie guys walked through the hill with communication devices in their hands around 2pm. I AM NOT sure what they were doing ... slow day for action. The City is stepping up their patrols, and a few weekends ago I saw a couple of str8 people wander off trail into the cruising area.

  • Well, you are close about the guy in the green Saturn VUE. He is an undercover cop. He will not arrest you, but someone else will if he sees anything suspicious. Beware and don't mess with him. He has hidden video equipment in his car and stuff he carries with him, so watch out.

  • there is a guy in a green/teal older saturn that has been going there I was told that he had someone arrested there this week so please be on the look out of this guy/car. he walk the trails. the cruising is limited and it is mostly older men.

  • Do people still go to this place? i know it was a great cruising place about 3 years ago, then the cops got wind of it and started partolling pretty hard there.. Is it safe again, and when is the best times?
