cruiser adds: I was looking at the Riverfront Park site map (Lawrence, Kansas) and the Exit off of I-70 is titled wrong. The Exit is EAST LAWRENCE (not West) to get to Riverfront Park (which is a hot place to cruise!) West Lawrence is the HyWay which turns into Iowa Street and leads past KU. East Lawrence Exit is the HyWay which turns into Massachusetts Ave and heads Downtown. The Exit Number IS #204.

A cruiser gives us a hand: 'Go north across the river bridge, just past the turnpike to teepee juction. Instead of turning right to KC., turn left at the north end of Kaw Salavge. Go over the tracks and you are there.

  • The dog park out at the Clinton Lake Outlet is opened again and now there are fewer dog walkers at riverfront. Maybe this place can get back to normal again.

  • After I left this park yesterday I went to Camp Gaea. Had fun there, even after 3PM....There were about 12 out there yesterday. Going back today.

    I know 12 is a good time to be there.

  • The Clinton dog park is closed seemingly for road repairs. As of a week ago the park had been closed for two weeks and still no road work had been started. I have not been out there since then. With that park closed Riverfront park is catching all of the dogwalkers. I think it will be like this until Clinton dog park reopens.

  • So I was there today from around 3 pm- 5:30ish and there were numerous cars in the parking lot however I couldnt find a single person in the timber. A little help maybe? Some tips? Do most of the people go to the frisbie golf course or the other side? Thanks for the help

  • was there monday around 3 p.m. and it was very slow. just a couple of guys kept walking around. no one seem to want to do anything. will maybe try again on tuesday and wednesday (9th & 10th) around noon. hope to find someone to drain my balls for me
