Abbey park, Canal Tow Path

From the city centre head towards loughtborough on the A6. You will pass a large church on your right and directly opposite are some new apartments. About 200yds past the church is an opening in the middle of the central reservation. If it's open turn right into the car park at nest to the sports ground, if this is closed do a U-turn and then take the next left, just after the VW garage. Follow the road around to the left and move into the right hand lane. Bear right then park up on the right hand side next to the VW repair centre. There is an alleyway on the left which leads to the park and next to it, the canal path. (If you reach halfords on your journey you have gone past the turn off; turn around and head back towards the city centre. Look for signs for St Margerets pastures sports ground and you'll be back on track!)

• Hours:Friday and Saturday nights, between 11pm and 5am. Best times are when the clubs in the city start kicking out.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:Walk around and check out the guys. Keep your wits about you as people have been abused in the past, but nothing for the past few months.
  Cruisiest Spots: Under the bridges, you'll find them ;)
• Nudity / Policy:In the warmer months, some guys climb the gates to the park and go lie naked on the grass. Also, some guys sometimes get naked on the benches near the cycle ramp. Again, you'll find it!

• Warnings:You do get quite a few groups of str8 lads cutting through here to get home at the weekends, so be aware. You can usually hear them coming anyway.
  Warnings: Nothing has happened recently; just be aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine.
