This is a huge wooded area that is open to the public for birdwatching and nature walks. Lots of trails and has a good mix of people from dog walkers to families to those looking to play.

    Best times: Anytime, really.
    Dates open: Anytime right up to just after dark.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Wander around and look ready. Take it off the path and into the trees.
    Cruisiest Spots: Two areas. First is right at the entrance, across from the access road to Shop and Save on Montello -- hang out by the gate and the bench and look ready. The other is up the side road, towards the reservoir, past the houses and at the dead end area of the road.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Use care and common sense.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Watch out for families and old trolls. ALso the PD rides in on bikes every once in a while.
    Warnings: Take it off the path and into the woods -- use common sense and be safe.

  • Went a few times but never reallys saw anyone. I don't feel like walking miles to hook up, how is it in winter?

  • this park has been over hauled. great parking and nice trails. would like to see this place come back alive. Very nice place to be in the woods alone or with some one.
