12 miles from center of Gorham, Route 25 west. Rest area will be on your left, just over the bridge at Standish/Limington town line.
Cross street: Route 25 west.

  • Hours:Dawn to Dusk. May through October.
    Best times: Mornings and evenings.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Follow obvious cruising guidelines.
    Cruisiest Spots: Walk back to river, follow trails to the right along the river.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:A few pushy queens not taking "NO" for an answer.
    Warnings: Many "straight" users during the day whom are not interested in your arse or . Please use caution. This area is used by many people during the day, fishermen-hikers-picnicers-swimmers, etc.

  • This has been a popular spot for a long time. Please use caution as the State Police and York COunty Sheriffs Dept. Both check the area, and a huge peak in cruising activity will result in more patrols. There are lots of families, swimmers, and kayakers here. So please be discreet. Thanks.
