A1133 Collingham Road

Is This Your Business?

Layby on the side of the A1133, well hidden by trees from the road. The entrance looks like an old abandoned road.

Neighbourhood: Newton on Trent

Take the A1133 from either the A57 (at Newton on Trent) or the A46 (off the dual carriage way near the showground).

From the A57, travel 2.3miles until you see the layby on the left. From the A46, its about 2.8 miles from Beesthorpe (on your right).

  • Hours:4-7pm catches most of the commuters, however there is often lorries parked overnight - i've found a couple of friendly truckers late at night ;-)
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just park up and look for people after the same. Usually by flashing lights but sometimes i've seen guys walking up and down.
Cruisiest Spots: cruiser adds 5/6/2009: definite "plus" for those keen on the more secluded meet. Truck drivers who stop here are often keen, as are reps on way home in evening. Avoid any local boy-racers though. The yellow stain through the field in one of the pics marks the recognised (but seldom used) public footpath for anyone wanting to really get away from it all and get their kit off in the summer sun - especially when the crop gets high ;)
  • Nudity / Policy:There is some tree's and bushy areas but mainly its kept to cars/vans/trucks or to go somewhere else.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / n/a
  • Warnings:Just be careful like you would anywhere.
