In 1983, SuperShuttle pioneered the shared ride door-to-door ground transportation concept with the opening of its Los Angeles, California operation. Today, SuperShuttle is the premier shared ride provider in the United States. Each day SuperShuttle provides door-to-door service for over 20,000 guests, that is almost seven million guests each year.
Currently, SuperShuttle provides service to 23 airports with approximately 1000 Blue Vans on the road.
From the beginning, SuperShuttle was established with a tradition of exceptional guest service. The strategy was simple: to be the premier shared ride transportation company, by taking care of the guest better than anyone else.
Our name defines us, and keeps us unique; it is the result of everything we do, and the foundation for our future growth. Uncompromising quality, superb guest service, cleanliness, responsiveness, reliability and the guest's safety are the standards on which SuperShuttle was built, and upon which we continue to successfully operate today.
Our past achievements and growth have been impressive, but the real challenge is to ensure that our current guests become repeat guests. We also must make our service easy for our guests to use; from making reservations through our reservation center, to ease in boarding, and at a cost that is perceived as an excellent value. Today the operative word is expansion. Our growth strategy is simple: We want to add SuperShuttle cities nationwide, to be the best at what we do, increase our market share in each city we operate, and to maintain our role as the leader in the industry.
