Kutzu trails in the woods, some cruising in the parking lot.

Neighbourhood: Fair Oaks

1485 S. Cobb Dr. parking area for Al Burruss Park is located off South Cobb Drive near its intersection with Gym Road and Cobb Parkway.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Don't expose yourself, but let it be known that you
are interested. Most everyone on the kutzu trails is cruising. 11/19/04 Another cruiser adds: I was here about 2 weeks ago when it was warmer outside. Park still
gets cruisy. Have frequented this place off and on for about 2 years... and have had some hott action. Also picked up guys in the lot to take back to my place. Action now has slowed because of the colder weather but "heats up" on warmer days!
Cruisiest Spots: From the parking lot, facing the park, the trail to the

  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Warnings: Have heard about busts here in the past but never experienced
or heard anything from any guys i've meet here.

  • stopped by the park a week ago and to my chagrin noticed they "defagafied" the park by clearing all the underbrush away. too bad.

  • lived in the area for the past 25 years, as I said before cops do come in from time to time, and have in the past busted people who were obvious, but what pudbud is saying about high powered lenses etc is BS, I have been to that park hundreds of times, never been busted, the park is NOT monitored all the time, but it is monitored

  • Al Burruss park is a VERY bad place to go as cops stake it out ALL the time and will bend the law to bust you. I've lived here all my life and know this to be true. Cops do impromptu ride-by's on trail bikes and have been known to monitor it using high-powered lenses from across Delk/S.Cobb (Dobbins) &/or from the military building adjoining the park. I found out the hard way once before and hope this will keep someone else from making the same costly mistake. Al Burruss is more than a mile from Wildwood park (which is connected to Life College) which is ALSO heavily monitored by police. I enjoy cruising like the next guy but these places are wayyyy too risky to play. Your best bet is to meet someone and take it somewhere else but staying there is just asking for a trip to Cobb County Jail on County Farm Road. I know you will do what you want but please consider my advice from experience learned the hard way.

  • I agree. Be less obvious and make the effort to exercise. It is good for you. After you can unload in one's car.

  • Went there this last week. There were a few guys there cruising. Not much action though. Some of the guys are way too obvious about cruising. Every guy there looked like they just came from work. At least have on some jogging pants or shorts to make it look like you are there for exercise just in case cops happen to be patrolling.

It is a large park. There are a lot of trails to go down. Most people stay towards the paths closest to the parking lot. I think you could do more the farther away you get into the park. But that's just my opinion.
