Update 5/26/2008: he entrance Fee is now $40MN

This is an old bath that hasn't has a paint job or new plumbing in decades. But you go for the men, not the surroundings. The bath basically consists of small changing rooms, showers and a steam room on the first floor (steam room wasn't started until 5:00pm the day I was there). The second floor has small rooms and some bigger rooms. There are no video rooms or any of the things that Americans would be accustomed to.
Crowd: Generally Mexicans. You don't see many tourists right now. The age range tends to be 30s and on. Not many 20-somethings.
No

Neighbourhood: Old Downtown Mazatlan.

Who's Coming

No

Old Downtown Mazatlan, 4 blocks from the mercado (market) in between Bemito Juarez St and Aquiles Serdan.

If you are in the Zona Dorado (Gold Zone aka hotel zone), there is a bus that runs on Ave Camaron Sabalo (the main drag for the Gold Zone) called Sabalo Central. This bus goes straight to the old Downtown Mazatlan area and right into the thick of things. Take that bus until you approach Genaro Estrada, or you can get off at the market and walk 4 blocks. I walked up and down Genaro Estrada twice before I found the place. There's a sign out front but what you see is an eating place. You have to walk in and go through the food stand to the curtains in the back. (The eating place is a part of the bath). So that's important point to remember.
Cross street: In between Benito Juarez and Aquiles Serdan. It\'s right in the middle of the block.

Not sure about hours on weekends.
Best times: The place is practically deserted until around 4:00pm when guys start getting off work. Nights are a lot busier.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The general entrance fee is $35 pesos. There was also a $50 peso entrance fee but I could not understand the desk clerk's explanation - think it was for couples.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes and No. Yes, if you find the right guy. No, until you do.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:A good cleaning job from top to bottom would be nice.
