cruiser update 9/15/2008: currently, bar on patio is no more. that space has been remodeled: enclosed, air conditioned, with tables and seating (to comply with alcohol codes i guess). the enclosed patio is also being tried as "smoke free" although you have to brave the cigarette smoke to go inside to get a drink.
it is a nice comfy space now with all the seating.
previous description: Full bar with the obligatory pool table. Patio bar in summer. DJ Record Player spinning on weekend nights with retro/disco Sunday afternoons. No dance floor.

Cross street: Poplar and Cleveland - Hours:4pm to 3am. occasional private afterhours parties hosted by local leather club.
Best times: Nights after 1030 or 11p, especially Friday and Saturday night. Sunday afternoons are picking back up some into the evening. - Cruising Info/ Tips:Guys who hook up inside the bar or out on the patio will take it home or to the dark under the treehouse. Up top it is pretty much up for grabs; if you got it out someone will latch onto it.
Cruisiest Spots: Definitely the treehouse out on the patio. "Upstairs" is more public with lots of guys cruising/showing; "down under" is a little darker and more private, just be prepared for someone to impatient to wait in the bathroom line to walk under there and take a whizzz. - Nudity / Policy:Men's bar, females welcome but please don't intrude in the cruising thanks.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / The bar is at street level with slight lip at the door, fairly easy access unless you have an extra wide chair.
- Warnings:Cab service can sometimes be very slow to pick you up when ready to move on. Ask the bartender to call again and order another drink, that's sure to make them get there faster.
Warnings: Parking is best in the Kroger grocery store lot to the west of the bar, well lit at night. DO NOT PARK AROUND THE CORNER ON THE LITTLE SIDE STREET; occasional breakin and mugging there. DON'T GIVE STREET PEOPLE THE TIME OF DAY.
