At rush hour the subway is excedingly crowded. Before entering the train, gays often cruise the platform looking for friendly eye contact. When they find it, they stay together amongst the press of the crowd while their hands soon find what they want.
Late at night gays often choose the rear car which sometimes can be very cruisy.
Hustlers sometimes work the Metro from the platforms. Their favorite stations seem to be: Hidalgo, Balderas, Insurgentes & Polanco. (Check the Metro entrance at Hidalgo station in Alameda Park.)
