Is This Your Business?

This is a real Mexican cantina with a roll-up steel door that opens the front to the street. It´s a refreshing change from the Zona Rosa scene, and except for the rainbow-painted saloon doors, does not immediately feel like a gay bar. It´s fun, friendly and attracts quite a few very men of almost all types -- although mostly regular-guy types. Your drinks come with complimentary hors d'ouvres, very attentive service, and it has a terrific juke box. I happen to like older men, and this is the only place in Mexico City that works for me. Right next door is another fine cantina for men called El Viena.
Crowd: Very masculine, mostly working-class, mostly locals of all ages.
