Hanging around this park today and only one couple is here playing with their dog. I would love to feed someone a lunch time treat.

When is this place happening? After work? Luv to stop by on the way home & check out the action (or take it elsewhere).

How do I get here from 287 North?

Bathroom at the top of the hill - Sugarloaf - is heated and open! Anyone in the area up for a late lunch meat and greet?

The easiest is to describe is to get on Rte 24, enter the park from there and head straight to the top of the hill. You want the second Sugarloaf parking lot.

But from 287, take North to Harter Rd, at the end of the exit make a left and you'll come to a stop sign at Harter Rd. Make another left heading west until it dead ends into Rte 202.

Make a left heading south on 202. A little ways down, make a right onto Bailey Hollow Rd.

This will dead end into Jockey Hollow Rd - make a left and follow this until the entrance of the National park area, where you turn right onto Sugarloaf road.

Follow Sugarloaf through the woods, at the split for the school stay to the left, then you'll come to the entrance of Lewis Morris park on your right - turn right into the park and proceed straight into the parking lot.

It does not exactly close but a good time to go is near dusk or during the middle of the day before people get off of work it can be dead. Some young college guys there beating it. Its a good place cause you here people coming since the parking lot is near. Where bathroom do you use?

LOL - I didn't even know there was a bathroom near the dog park, it was so hidden by the trees. If I go, I head to the top of the hill - but with the nice weather, there's been lots of folks picnic-ing which kills it for me.

Do you kow what time does the dog park closes?

Hey you college boy... Got some action in the restroom by the dog park after it was closed. Good place to go because no one uses the bathroom after dog park is closed. Action off and on.
