Is This Your Business?

Very busy washroom accessible from the east side of Yaroslavsky Train Station.

Neighbourhood: Komsomolskaya (Three Vauxhalls)

Take the Metro to Komsomolskaya Station, exit & ask for Yaroslavsky Vauxhall (any Russian will understand & point you in the right direction).
  • Directions:Take the Metro to Komsomolskaya Station, exit & ask for Yaroslavsky Vauxhall (any Russian will understand & point you in the right direction).
  • Hours:Open almost 24 hours a day (except for cleaning around 3 a.m.)
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Park yourself at one of the urinals & wait for someone to spend a bit of extra time. Keep in mind that most of the men will be middle-aged travelers and usually quite cautious (a holdover from Soviet times)...and uncircumcised.
Leningradsky Vauxhall & Kazansky Vauxhall are also in the area & the washrooms there are sometimes good spots as well, but less reliably so.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / No handicap access.
  • Warnings:Although the women who look after the washroom clearly know what's going on, they won't bother anyone who isn't bothering anyone else. If one of the women says something to you, a ten ruble tip will work wonders. There are rednecks (& police) about from time to time, so watch your behavior - it helps to dress conservatively (like the locals). Almost all contact is & this takes place in the stalls (which have low doors, so be quiet, but expect that someone may take an interest & watch the proceedings - this is common & I never had a problem).
